Wrought Iron Dog Head Hammer

This beauty is forged from early 1900s wagon wheel wrought iron from my family’s ranch. Wrought iron is simply iron, and impurities. It isn’t a useful material to many, however blacksmiths and bladesmiths can use this material, and etch it to reveal its inner beauty. Aggressive etches can make wrought appear like wood grain. It’s really fascinating material.
