Stainless Santoku

This here is a Santoku Chef’s knife made from AEB-L stainless steel.Blade is 6 inches long. Its got that forged texture that everyone loves. Traditional Japanese chef’s knives commonly had octagonal handles. I basically squished it into a general rectangular cross section to be more comfortable in the hand. Also has a facet in the bolster to make the pinch grip on the ricasso feel natural. It still has 8 sides and pays homage to the ancient bladesmiths of Japan, but come on man. A straight octagon isn’t that comfortable. Maybe it’s just me, I don’t know. This is how I believe they should be done.
