Multi-Bar Twist Damascus Chef
Another chef in my signature style. This pattern is a unique one. It was created by taking 4 bars of twist damascus, stacking them in a 4-way (2x2 grid) but separating them with 1080 steel (the bold black layers). That then was welded solid and twisted. The bolster is vintage paper micarta, and the handle is Western Myall Burl, a naturally stable hardwood from Australia. This guy has a 6 3/8 inch cutting edge and is about 12 1/2 inches overall. I absolutely love the pattern and the handle. It all came together really well.
